Our story, our celebration, our Newfields

Welcome to the celebration of Newfields' 175th Anniversary!

Nestled in the heart of New Hampshire's Seacoast, Newfields, settled in 1638, boasts a rich history. Once a vital part of Exeter and later a parish of Newmarket, our town emerged as South Newmarket in 1849, eventually adopting the name Newfields in 1895.

As we commemorate our 175 years, we reflect on our journey from a modest yet pivotal player in regional commerce to a cherished community of 1,769 residents (2020 Census) spread across 7.3 square miles. Join us in celebrating the legacy and enduring spirit of Newfields, a town that witnessed and shaped the course of local history.

Thank you!

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our sponsors for their generous support in making this weeklong celebration possible.
